9am until 5pm - Mon to Fri

We're happy to reserve tables in our tea shop if you're planning a small get together with friends

or family. 

If you're looking for a private room to host a larger group you may like to book our downstairs room*. 


We can accommodate group sizes of 4 to 40 ...

and there's no charge for room hire if we provide the refreshments.

*Please note: The downstairs room is located at basement level and accessed via a well-lit staircase, but may not be suitable for those who find negotiating stairs difficult.

March 2018 - Here's our recent window display for Carmarthen Welsh Week and St.David's Day. We won first prize in the town's window dressing competition organised by Yr Atom!

25 -27 April - Brewing Exhibition @ Tea Traders

Carmarthen School of Art - BA(Hons) Sculpture Students (Year 2) - End of Year Sculpture Exhibition. Open to the public in the underground spaces at Tea Traders. 

We are thrilled to be nominated by our customers and to be finalists in two categories for Carmarthenshire Tourism Awards 2018.

We're Supporting Cerebra Charity!

Many thanks to our customers for helping to raise £125 for Cerebra over the last few months through donations in the collection box, and support for our charity storytelling events this month:

Tall Stories & Celtic Tales which raised £64.

Cerebra is a Carmarthen based national charity 

that strives to improve the lives of children with neurological brain conditions.

Prynhawn Da / S4C 

Welsh TV Presenter Mari Grug and cameraman Steffan came to Tea Traders to record a feature about our tea shop for Prynhawn Da. 

They are filming a selection of the most interesting cafes across Wales, and we're thrilled that they chose to feature us in the programme.
